There are 6,624 state parks and 59 national parks, meaning that there are plenty of choices for parks to hike, camp, or simply visit. When choosing a park in the United States, there can be a problem of there being too many parks to choose from. Additionally, it can problematic on how information of every park is scattered across different webpages and sources. The goal of the website if to centralize the important information for choosing a park in a way to help prospective visitors and curious people. Some helpful information when choosing a park includes information like location, climate, size, features, and pictures. This website will compile the information from various websites, consolidate it all into one website, and display them in an intuitive and aesthetically pleasing manner. The expected uses of this website includes: hikers or campers seeking a new adventure, photographers wanting to find that perfect picture, people that are looking for about information about the park, or even not from the United States looking at places to visit.
