02/27/2020 - Project Start
I start doing this project. I plan to work on this over the weekend.
03/04/2020 - Project Idea
I was in bio class this afternoon and the class is about water and cells. I start think water can hide things, how about I hide things inside the map. Then I quickly draw out this map with lava and water. The player can hide or die here. I have a basic idea about the map now.
03/05/2020 - Grey Box
The grey box is not hard but takes time to do it. While I do the grey box I edit and changed little, add more things and detail to the game. I start to see how my game will play out now.
04/01/2020 - Lighting
Lighting is hard, I have to go back and forth to check the light. But I spend the whole day to change the light, I used mostly fill light, so the player can see the map all the way, but not really bright.
04/09/2020 - Hallway Update
I changed the Hallway and put three walls each side to make this hallway not stright see though. Also, the player now can have more places to hide in the hallway now.
04/09/2020 - Playtest
After the playtest I find out there were few problems, one is there really few shotgun ammo and few spaces that have no point of use at all. I will try to improve and fix by add more ammo to the map and add more jumping puzzles to the game. Also, I will make the window lower so the player can jump on top of the window.
04/10/2020 - Improve
I find a lot of problem in the playtest and a lot of ideas, I change the map around and took most of the suggestion and improve on it.
04/15/2020 - Texture
Spend time find texture it is a pain because most of the texture is not what I want, but I don't have time to build texture my self. But at the same time, I don't want my map to use bad textures so I use different textures and finally get this done.
04/15/2020 - fix bugs
It is easy to find a problem and it is hard to fix the bugs. But once you have done to fix bugs you will feel great.
04/15/2020 - map release
Finally done with this map. I love what I did, but I will keep working and improve on it.
