Seagate is the 3rd most populous city in Therent. Know for its important port, the land nearby is fertile and well-populated. Seagate trades often with Pact, its almost sister city, which has mines nearby, whereas Seagate exports food and livestock.

Its name comes from a natural harbor where two points extend into the sea and into the air, creating a bridge under which ships can pass under, making this underpass appear to be the gate to the sea.

..book written “False Accusations” Author..some kind of mage (who has access to magical means of investigation) but not trusted by Seagate (or several other cities for that matter) .. person of high morals, wants to see the wrongs righted Contains story of a merchant who was accused of attempting to sink the rival trader’s boat. Publicly executed on charges of property damage and attempted mass murder (of the people on the ship). This is recent enough, rival merchant still alive.. Did they frame? Was some other party otherwise interested?
