Notes
-
Previous meeting minutes and actions (all)
- Discussion: (Xinqiang) Any bounding box number limit? (Tom) No limitation in theory. (Jan) to add the number as a recommendation (Tom) to keep the number of bounding boxes to a minimum for high-level search, and the number of bounding boxes can go to KPI.
-
Secretariat updates (Anna)
- publish KPIs in the Guide to WIS plan and questions
- to introduce the KPIs at INFCOM-II
- Q1: how much do you want to publish in the Guide (add a section at the end of Part V), definition/recommendation/best practice/summary? Or detailed in WMO Community Platform webpages
- Q2:Flexibility (If all KPIs go to the Guide, then the flexibility of changes decreases)
- (Jan) I don't think it that important.
- (Tom) if published in Guide, WCMP1.3 will then not be touched anymore. But how about the workflow of the pattern. The less, the more agile. WMO links are so disorganized. Poor WMO Infrastructure, so I prefer the GitHub for consistency. Minimum in the Guide and then direct to other places for further information. I have a concern that the links to the detailed information of KPI are not stable due to poor WMO infrastructure.
- Decision: KPI goes to WIS Guide Session V with the minimum text and then adds the links to the WMO webpage.
- publish KPIs in the Guide to WIS plan and questions
-
WCMP2 document updates (Tom/all)
-
Stoplight studio demo (Tom)
- To move to the next meeting
-
WIS 2 topic hierarchy
