- clause 9: data policy (Julia)
- clause 10: distribution (Guillaume)
Notes
- clause 0: abstract (Tom)
- clause 6: overview (Tom)
- Not much to build or summarize at the current stage
- clause 7: identification (Steve)
- (Steve) to be shared by next week
- clause 8: extents (Xinqiang)
- (Xinqiang) Compare the WCMP1.3 and OGC API, update on the branch. 2 questions: 1) Spatial resolution needed? 2)temporal interval (begin, modify time)?
- (Tom) model data for spatial resolution, not covered in OGC. Spatial resolution is good.
- (Steve) Satellite data for spatial; temporal use cases, normally describe in the framework
- (Anna) multiple extents for different reasons, repeated bounding boxes is not preferable. Should we introduce flexibility? WGS84 is limiting.
- (Jan) Operational use should be more about the product resolutions. Two aspects to consider: 1) how far out does the model for the prediction? 2) granularity of data for the forecast
- (Julia) rolling time window, extents maximum boundaries, spatial is easy, but for time, no maximum extent.
- (Tom) temporal extent is coarse to be discovery metadata. Temporal extent would be optional.
- (Decision) Both spatial resolution and the temporal extent are optional
- clause 9: data policy (Julia)
- (Julia) Do we need "NoLimited" category? (No)
- (Action) to check with ET-W2AT for "WMOOther" to harmonize
- clause 10: distribution (Guillaume)
- to be updated by Guillaume next time
Actions
- Tom: to check with ET-W2AT about the "WMOOther" category
- Xinqiang: to complete clause 8
- Steve: to complete clause 7
