• The team briefly reviewed legacy issues on the project board;
  • https://github.com/wmo-im/wmds/issues/114 and https://github.com/wmo-im/wmds/issues/143 for space based codes; (John Eyre) has talked with Heikki about this and they have a very complete and mature list and they should provide it to this team; (see action 2)

• WMDR2 Roadmap

  • (Joerg) had a conversation with Anna and Tom about how to move this forward and meeting again today; (Anna) briefly talked about a draft presentation on the pros/cons for different options as well as listing issues and need to determine if it's a minor or major change (Joerg)agreed, most of this doesn't change the standard (WMO-No. 1192), it's the representation that changes; (Gao) I recommend grouping some of the content issues into broader categories, e.g. variable changes; (Anna) wasn't sure how to differentiate the codes effort from the record representation;

• Variable spreadsheet -

  • (Lara) did some research and provided a couple links for the next discussion (https://github.com/i-adopt/patterns/tree/main and https://vocabs.lter-europe.net/envthes/en/page/10351); (Joerg) suggested that the spreadsheet is split into common concepts
