  1. Opening
  2. Update from WIS 2.0 architecture workshops (WIS 2 node)
    • WIS 2 node is a project providing tools to receive and publish data and products from/to WIS 2.0.
    • Run under SC-IMT with contributions from SC-IMT teams and Secretariat (technical lead Tom Kralidis)
    • Use of MQP is central. The node will use the stack and software developed by TT-Protocols
  3. Drafting MQP specifications issue
    • Specifications are important to provide the framework in which the WIS 2 node, and other projects, can be developed and be interoperable.
    • the lead of TT-Protocols suggests using GitHub and RST format to draft specifications, which will then be turned into WMO regulations as part of the WIS manual.
    • The (readme)[https://github.com/wmo-im/GTStoWIS2/blob/main/README.rst] will be the basis
    • Secretariat to create a new branch (issue 40) and provide a skeleton of a draft specification
    • Antje and Jan to share information related to the conversion of GTS filenames to the WIS2 topic tree with a new human-readable text that will be part of the MQP specification.
