The „TopTronic® E“ devices of Hoval AG have CAN-Bus interface. It is used for intercommunication between devices, for example if many of them are installed together. CAN-Gateway can be connected to this CAN-Bus and can read the data that are sent over the bus. It also can generate data („write” the bus). This way it is possible to read information form the devices and also control them.

CAN-Gateway can communicate with other components in your WiFi network (PC/Laptop, Smartphone etc.). It also has a WEB interface that can be used for easy configuration of the CAN-Gateway.
