Navigating inside the plots

This tool supports interactive work inside the plots.

The following is supported

  • Zoom in/out (x,y) using the mouse wheel
  • Moving the trace using the right mouse button while shifting the trace
  • Zoom in region: draw an rectangle of interest from top-left to bottom-right
  • Zoom out to default region: draw an rectangle from bottom-right to top-left

Models

Verifying models

It is usually a good idea, to double check the results in a spice tool. This helps to find bugs in either tools, spice and this tool.

This side-by-side comparision shows a diode in ModelGen on the left side, and the same results in LTspice. Both show the same device, the BAT54. It also shows that this device could be improved compared to datasheet, by adding breakdown und better fitting the capacity.

For IF/VF a pulsed voltage source is used, the capacity plot is done using the capometer.
