Part 1

Build the topology and assign addressing

• Replaced each PC label with a PC and connected it to its LAN's switch (Ireland, Joyce, Skiff)
• All three LANs are /27s, mask 255.255.255.224:
  • Ireland LAN — 192.168.1.0/27, gateway 192.168.1.1
  • Joyce LAN — 192.168.1.32/27, gateway 192.168.1.33
  • Skiff LAN — 192.168.1.64/27, gateway 192.168.1.65
• Configured each PC's IPv4 settings (Config tab → IPv4) with the second/last usable host address, the subnet mask, and the first usable host as the default gateway:
  • IrelandSecondPC: 192.168.1.2 / gateway 192.168.1.1
  • IrelandLastPC: 192.168.1.30 / gateway 192.168.1.1
  • JoyceSecondPC: 192.168.1.34 / gateway 192.168.1.33
  • JoyceLastPC: 192.168.1.62 / gateway 192.168.1.33
  • SkiffSecondPC: 192.168.1.66 / gateway 192.168.1.65
  • SkiffLastPC: 192.168.1.94 / gateway 192.168.1.65

Part 2

Test connectivity with PDUs

• Deliverable 1: Sent PDUs JoyceSecondPC → SkiffSecondPC and SkiffLastPC → JoyceLastPC — both successful
• Deliverable 2: Sent PDUs IrelandSecondPC → SkiffSecondPC and IrelandLastPC → SkiffLastPC — both successful
