rupt2Dquad

rupt2Dquad is a 2D dynamic rupture modeling code using unstructured quadrilateral meshes, based on the discontinuous Galerkin (DG) finite element method. This code is publicly available at https://github.com/wenqiang-geophys/rupt2Dquad. 3D version is publicly available at https://github.com/wqseis/drdg3d (Zhang et al., 2023). NetCDF is used for handling array-oriented scientific data. No Fortran programming skills are required to run this code. However, users need basic knowledge of MATLAB and Linux for flexible configuration of input meshes, media, stresses, etc.
