Analysing Verses and Search Results in Qur'an Tools

The Qur'an browser in Qur'an Tools offers various options for analysing the verses and search results.

1. Count or Chart Search Hits

• Displays the number of times your search terms appear in the verses.
• Can be displayed as a count per sura or per verse.
• Can be shown as a chart for visual analysis.

2. Analyse Words in These Verses

• Counts the Arabic roots appearing in the selected verses.
• Provides access to charts, definitions, and linguistic features of roots.
• Allows for graphical display of information.

3. Count Words and Letters in These Verses

• Counts the words or letters in the selected verses.
• Offers the option to count letters instead of words.
• Displays results as a chart if desired.

4. Analyse Sura Lengths in This Selection

• Shows a list of surahs from which verses are included in the selection or search results.
• Includes the length of each sura.

Tips

• Click on columns or slices in charts to drill down and view more details.
• Use the browser's back button to return to the chart if needed.
• Choose the "Chart Search Hits" option from the charts menu for easier chart display.
