Interlinear Mode

Interlinear Mode is a feature of the Qur'an Tools website that allows users to view Qur'anic passages with linguistic data displayed beneath each word.

How to Access Interlinear Mode

• Lookup a verse or passage.
• Click the "Interlinear Mode" button.

Features

• Basic linguistic data for each word:

  • Gloss
  • Word type
  • Basic linguistic data (gender, person, number, Arabic form)
  • Lemma
  • Arabic root

• Search for more examples in the Qur'an.

• Access the Instant Details Palette just as in Reader Mode.
