The Least You Can Do To Maintain Your Salt Water Pool

When the system is configured properly, hardly anything should be done except cleaning the skimmer and the pool cleaner - I have this one

To clean the skimmer just take it out and dump all those dead leaves, mice, frogs, insects onto the laun.

Here's the pool cleaner:

It is now open. It usually lives under water, and does his job once a day or two or three (see the controller below). Pull it out of water (by the cable, and when you see the handle, take the handle, and take it out of water; open the lid, take out its skimmer, and dump all those leaves and insects anywhere on the lawn).

The machine will run for three hours. It's not recommended to go swimming while it's walking around, so it's better to start it after using the pool.
