Waterfall plot - voxo22/hackrf-spectrum-analyzer GitHub Wiki
Waterfall plot is used to display a short history of a spectral graph. It is an excellent tool for capturing events that occur only sporadically, for comparative expression of amplitude ratios, but also for easy identification of waveforms and modulation curves. A color scale, which is displayed on the right side of the spectral chart, is used to express the amplitude. You can set the color scale parameters (initial amplitude and range) on the Waterfall/REC tab. It is also possible to set the scrolling speed of the waterfall as needed, or stop it completely.
The data for the waterfall is derived from the REALTIME curve of the spectral chart. For easier identification of the frequency, a vertical frequency line is displayed when you move the mouse over the waterfall.
Note: Waterfall does not redraw when changing frequency range. Scrolling is continuous and for some time after changing frequency it is still filled with previous data, which gradually disappears.
