An onboarding policy for Windows Autopilot was created to streamline the onboarding process for Windows devices. A predefined Windows group policy was then assigned to this Autopilot onboarding policy, ensuring that devices receive the necessary configurations and compliance settings during the initial setup and enrolment into Intune.

Integrated Defender for Endpoint

Defender for Endpoint was integrated via Intune to ensure that all configured security policies were applied to devices onboarded through Windows Autopilot. This integration enabled centralized management and real-time protection, allowing devices to receive security configurations automatically during the provisioning process, thereby enhancing endpoint protection from the initial setup.
