Learning Nemerle

If you already know C#, Java or C++, but haven't had much exposure to functional programming before, we suggest you try the The basics (tutorial). Also, it's nice to see a little example of how type inference can help write clean code quickly.

OTOH people with ML (OCaml, SML, Haskell) background may want to check ML differences page.

For wider insight into the structure of the language, see Gtk text editor (tutorial), later have a look at the C# vs Nemerle differences table, and finally get through Grokking Nemerle.

People who had previous ML contacts should probably go straight to Grokking Nemerle, and having a look at the Gtk text editor (tutorial) later won't hurt.

The next step for anybody learning the language should be looking at the class library documentation, which also contains descriptions of interesting macro packages.

You can also access PDF and static HTML versions of the tutorials above for offline browsing.
