What is crimping?

Crimping is the most common process we use for attaching connectors to wires. An alternative method is to solder two wires together, but soldering becomes more difficult with larger gauge wires. Connectors make connecting and disconnecting two wires really easy, and a good connector will ensure a good electrical connection.
