Installing PCSX2

(Note: If installing the pack on PAL version of the game, make sure to read the final step in this guide)

1. Install the latest nightly build of PCSX2. (1.7.3088 of this writing)

2. Extract the archive anywhere. To use both the emulator and this pack, you'll need a PS2 BIOS and a copy of Mortal Kombat: Deception. For more detailed instructions, read the official PCSX2 setup guide. Confirm both PCSX2 and Mortal Kombat: Deception work before continuing.

Setting up PCSX2 to Load Custom Textures

1. Inside PCSX2, navigate to Settings>Graphics>Texture Replacement. If the emulator doesn't come with a folder called textures in the root folder, create it. MAKE SURE TO TICK THE LOAD TEXTURES BOX

Installing MKDeception Texture Pack Kollection

1. Download the latest version of pack for PCSX2.

2. Extract the pack anywhere and move the SLUS-20881 folder into the textures folder we created earlier.

3. That's it! Run Mortal Kombat: Deception from PCSX2 and it will automatically load the textures from the SLUS-20881 folder.

PAL Region Installation Instructions

1. If you are using an non-US version of the game, the pack should still work just fine. I've played with it a bit on the PAL version and didn't notice any issues but can't confirm it will work entirely as intended.

2. Simply rename the SLUS-20881 folder to whichever serial number of the game you are using. (Europe is SLES-52705 for example)
