If anyone has examples of data privacy best practices or policy language regarding WZDx that they are willing to share, please reach out to Molly Behan.

Discussion/Questions

Jeremy A: Curtis Hay can you share more info about the conference you mentioned? General Motors will be hosting a meeting in April with representatives from several road construction contractors to discuss real-time reporting of work zone data. Reach out to Curtis Hay for more information.

Kali Fogel: Has anyone looked at using call boxes, light poles, or other infrastructure to mount equipment to detect if workers are on the roadway? There was mixed response from meeting participants. Several noted concerns of privacy regarding detecting worker while others noted that technology such as RFID and mobile applications are being tested to detect workers presence.
