A seedling tray is used to grow plants from seeds to their early grow stages while it might still be too cold for the plants to grow outside.

Recipes

Combine 4 ceramic pots to craft one seeding tray.

• 4 ceramic pots => 1 seedling tray

Usage

Place a seedling tray on the ground and right click on it to open the GUI. Then place appropriate seeds into any or all of the four input slots. Seeds can be removed and replaced at any time, which will restart the growing process.

When placed under a roof, seedlings will be protected from low temperatures and snow, while plants growing outside might perish.

In time, seeds will grow into seedlings which will need to be planted in the soil. Plant a seedling by right clicking on a tilled farmland plot when holding it much like a seed would be planted.

Seedlings will whither if they stay in the tray for too long and for the best outcome they should be planted in the soil as soon as they are removed from the tray.

Notes

• Not all plants are suitable to be planted in a seedling tray.
