A lantern is a light source block that consumes oil.

Recipe

A lantern can be crafted by combining a glass lamp cylinder, a string, and a brass lamp base.

Usage

A lantern can be set to one of three levels of light intensity. The higher the intensity, the higher the fuel consumption. Right click a lantern with an empty hand while sneaking to change the intensity.

Right click a lantern with an empty hand while not sneaking to turn it off.

Right click a lantern when holding a lit torch or similar to turn it on.

Right click a lantern when holding a bottle of olive oil to refill it.
