- Open a web browser to https://basespace.illumina.com/
- If this is the first time you are using Basespace, setup an account by clicking the "Don't have an account" link.
- Make sure that email account you use for your BaseSpace account matches the email address to which you received the BaseSpace share invite.
- If you have an existing account, login using your email address and BaseSpace password.
- Once logged in, click on the Dashboard tab (red arrow)
- If we have transferred data to you, there will be a share/transfer request (orange arrow). Click Accept.
- Once you’ve accepted the share, you can now access the data under the Project tab. (Red arrow).
- Each row is a different project.
- The overview shows how much data in each project and the owner of the project (yellow arrow).
- If you are the owner, you can share data to anyone else with a BaseSpace account. (green arrow).
- If you click on one of the projects, you’ll be taken to a more detailed page (purple arrow).
- When viewing the project, click on the Download Project icon on the right side of the page (red arrow).
- If this is the first time you are downloading data from BaseSpace click on the Install the BaseSpace Sequence Hub Downloader in the Download Project dialog.
- If this is NOT the first time you are downloading data from BaseSpace OR after the BaseSpace Sequence Hub Downloader is installed, click on the Download button to start the download.
- Once the BaseSpace Downloader has started, select the Directory on you computer that will be used for the download and click START DOWNLOAD
