Sometimes forms are used within a call for submissions which generally includes a deadline. After the deadline passes, the form is removed and replaced with text explaining that no more submissions are being accepted. We want to avoid presenting forms that are out of date or no longer working. In some cases, we save the form for future use.

Adding an existing form to a new post

For example, the Artist in Residence Program seeks applicants once a year. When the new draft is written, the existing form must be embedded again, making it active.

Add the WPForms block

Choose the existing form from the dropdown

In this case, it would be Apply to be Artist in Residence at UCSF Library
