  3. Close the tray
  4. The player will make a whirring noise again and the yellow light on the front should turn on and stay on.

Removing media

    • If the tray does not pop out when you eject the disk you can press on the button on the front of the player to release the tray
    • If the tray still does not open, follow the troublehooting instructions below
  2. You will need to pull out the drawer again and then remove the disk by pressing the raised section in the center of the disk and popping the disk out.

Repacking the player

  1. unplug all cables and return both the player and the cables to the box.
  2. Return the box to the devices drawer.

Troubleshooting

The tray will not open.

  1. In the tray underneath the desk below the computer is a partially unfolded paper clip. Unplug the player from the WriteBlocker and carefully insert the unfolded end into the hole to the right of the tray on the front of the player. The drawer should now pop out. If this does not work, ask the Digital Accessions Specialist for assistance.
