Note: You must be running WeeWx 4.0 or newer!
Installing Belchertown skin

Download the latest release.

Run the installer as below. Replace
x.x
with the version number that you've downloaded. You can also point the installer at the Belchertown folder, if you've already unpacked it or if you have cloned the repo locally.
sudo weectl extension install weewx-belchertown-x.x.tar.gz

Edit your
weewx.conf
to add the required configuration (see below). -
Tailor the skin to meet your needs using the custom option variables. There's a lot of them.

Wait for an archive period, or run
sudo weectl report run
to force an update. -
Browse to your website to see the skin. It may be in a belchertown subdirectory.
Required configuration
These settings need to be enabled in order for the skin to work. Within weewx.conf
, under [Station]
make sure you have:
latitude
- used for forecasting and earthquake datalongitude
- used for forecasting and earthquake data
