In this lab we were using device manager on our VMware to help monitor the systems performance report. When creating the exampled performance monitor we used the avg. disk bytes/read and processor time which gave us a real good result on the graph with both of the added counters showing prominent results.

The issues I ran into when doing the second part of the lab which was actually finding two other counters to add that showed somewhat of the same results just with using different ones than exampled. It took me a very long time to find something that would actually provide me with results. Most of the ones I tried would only give me one sided results.

For my example I chose to do the Avg. Disk Write Queue and the IO Read Bytes/sec because i believed that they would provide me with the best results. I was wrong. The graph only really showed the IO Read Bytes/sec which had great results, the Avg. Disk Write Queue didn't really have much for its results just a small bump to start. I don't really know why only the Read Bytes/ sec showed up but it was the only example I found that at least one of the counters provided some sort of results for my computer.
