General guidelines when adding websites
- Websites are links to the game's official sources. These sites are typically created by the developer/publisher or community.
- English links should always be prioritized. If there are no English sources, the original language is acceptable.
Supported store links and guidelines
- All store links should be public and not require a password to access.
- All store links should go to the specific game type. For example, https://www.igdb.com/games/sid-meiers-civilization-vi-platinum-edition should have the EGS store link https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/sid-meiers-civilization-vi--platinum-edition and not https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/sid-meiers-civilization-vi .
- All store links should be live and listed pages at the time of adding to a game.
- Please ensure that you provide NA store links for stores that have different stores depending on the region. Currently other regions will not be accepted. For example: https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/story-of-seasons-grand-bazaar-switch/ this link would be accepted as it is the NA Nintendo store link, however https://www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Games/Nintendo-Switch-games/STORY-OF-SEASONS-Grand-Bazaar-2777792.html would have to be discarded, as it is from the UK store.

- App Store (iPhone)
- App Store (iPad)
- Itch.io
- Nintendo US

Supported social links and guidelines
- For smaller titles that may not have dedicated game social links, it’s acceptable to use the studios social links. The same is true for solo dev projects where it is acceptable to link to the specific developers social links if a dedicated social media presence isn’t available for the game.
Supported Social Links
- Official Website
- This should not link to a store page.
- A privately owned page is always preferred however if one doesn’t exist we will accept a Tumblr, ModDB or Github link.
- Twitch
- Twitch category pages should always be prioritized over studio account pages. For example, https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/halo-infinite should be added instead of https://www.twitch.tv/halo .
- YouTube
- The YouTube link should always be to a channel page instead of a specific video.
- Twitter (X)
- Discord
- Subreddit
- Community Wiki
- Official developer/publisher supported wikis should always be prioritized, followed by third party community led independent wikis and lastly any other wiki. For example, we would prefer https://hollowknight.wiki/w/Hollow_Knight_Wiki over https://hollowknight.fandom.com/wiki/Hollow_Knight_Wiki .
