USB Connector Wiring
Here's a handy diagram for wiring USB and Aviation connectors, this example uses a USB Type A and GX12 4 Pin connector. However, this is the same method for any connector, you simply just need to connect pin 1 to 1, pin 2 to 2, pin 3 to 3 and pin 4 to 4.
Note, you should always use the female (plastic covered end) of a aviation connector on your computer side, and the male end (exposed pins) on your wheel side - this means that there is no exposed 5V when you have nothing plugged in.
