You may prefer the carbon weave to face a specific way, or for when making replica steering wheels, they often have a specific carbon fiber weave orientation. If you want to replicate this as close as possible, you can supply one of these diagrams to the fabricator who is making your carbon fiber plate to ensure it is made how you want.
