Create a GitHub Account

If you want to participate in making updates to the TSG products' GitHub pages, create a github account here: https://github.com/join. If you already have a GitHub account, you can use this account provided that your profile is:

1. Appropriate for professional use
2. Easily identifiable as you. We don't want to see that awesomecoder123 added an issue and have to hunt down who that actually is.

Get added to the TSGRP Organization

Once you have a GitHub user account, talk to George or another TSG admin about getting added to the TSGRP organization. We'll just need to know your GitHub user ID.

Email Notifications

If you used your personal GitHub account above, then you may be annoyed that all of the notification emails for the TSG repositories go to your personal email address. This is easy to fix:

1. Login to GitHub and go to https://github.com/settings/emails
2. Add your tsgrp email to your account
3. Go to https://github.com/settings/notifications
4. Under the 'Notification email' section, setup custom routing for the tsgrp organization to go to your @tsgrp.com email address
