Team Composition
Robert Winston β Product Manager
Responsible for overall product strategy, alignment with market needs, and coordination across teams. Ensures milestones are met and the project remains within scope and budget.
Sylvia Sanders β Marketing Lead
Oversees market research, competitive analysis, and the development of marketing materials. Works to define the value proposition and market positioning.
Hiroshi Tanaka β Lead Engineer
Leads the engineering team in designing and developing the new air purifiers. Ensures product features meet technical specifications and are delivered on time.
Maggie Jones β Product Owner
Defines and prioritizes the product backlog. Works closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure product features meet customer needs and align with business goals.
Team Purpose
The purpose of the team is to design, develop, and launch a new line of HEPA air purifiers that addresses existing market gaps in odor removal, VOC filtration, noise reduction, and cost-effective maintenance. The team will work collaboratively to create prototypes, test and refine features, and ensure a smooth product launch before the summer season.

Objectives
Design and Prototype Development: Complete the design and initial prototype phases for all three purifier models (Basic, Better, Ultimate) by March 2025.
Feature Optimization: Successfully integrate improvements in noise reduction, VOC and odor removal, ozone control, and motor strength for enhanced air purification.
Launch Preparation: Finalize beta testing and marketing campaigns, ensuring readiness for a product launch by May 2025.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Prototype Development Milestones: Meet deadlines for prototype design, development, and testing (90% of milestones completed on schedule).
Customer Satisfaction Post-Launch: Achieve a customer satisfaction rate of at least 85% through surveys and feedback on product performance and features.
Sales Growth: Achieve a 25% increase in revenue and a 10% market share expansion within the first six months post-launch.

Valerie Kumar β Product Sponsor
Role: Valerie is responsible for approving the Product Concept Document, Business Case, and funding requirements for the project. She ensures the project aligns with the strategic vision of Perfect Purifiers LLC and oversees resource allocation.
Responsibilities:
Provide initial and ongoing funding for development phases.
Approve key documents and major project deliverables.
Monitor overall project progress and assist in overcoming major challenges.
Deadlines
Prototype Development Completion: March 2025
Engineering Phase Completion: April 2025
Beta Testing Start: May 2025
Product Launch: June 2025 (Before summer season)
Resources
Initial Funding: $80,000 allocated for prototype development and feature integration during the Conceive and Plan phases.
Team Resources:
Access to the existing PP LLC distribution channels for testing and final launch.

Meetings
Frequency: Weekly team meetings every Tuesday afternoon to review progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Additional Communication: Daily standups between Robert, Hiroshi, and Maggie for quick updates and coordination; ad-hoc meetings for urgent issues.
