Spell and grammar check

If you are not absolutely sure (and most of the time even if you are) it is a good thing to have an automated spell checker look at your text.

Line breaking

It is a good practice to keep your lines short, so that changes are more easily visible in git. Keep your lines to 80-120 characters at all times, including math or pictures.

Requests

If you know of a clever TeX hack or need some special environment, chances are this can be added to DeGeŠ core. The entire pipeline is admittedly a mess and adding special commands without consulting may lead to unexpected behaviour.
