How to Use Ledger Live with Decred (DCR) - trittinlair/Ledger-Live-Tips-2000 GitHub Wiki

Introduction

Decred (DCR) is a self-governing cryptocurrency with a hybrid Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus system. If you hold DCR tokens, securing them with a Ledger hardware wallet provides maximum protection by keeping your private keys offline.

While Ledger Live does not natively support Decred (DCR), you can still manage your DCR holdings securely by connecting your Ledger device to the official Decrediton Wallet.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to connect your Ledger to Decrediton and manage your DCR tokens safely.
