Target presentation times: anywhere from 3 minutes to 10 minutes, no longer than 10 minutes though...

Topics to include:

• Organism or system being studied
  • any conditions contrasted for differential expression?
• Description of the data:
  • paired-end or single-end reads
  • read length
  • number of biological replicates
• Quality of the read data
  • did fastqc or multiqc suggest problem replicates or bad quality reads?
• Quality control of sample replicates?
  • are replicates more similar to each other within samples than across samples?
  • (eg. correlation plots and/or PCA plots)
• Trinity assembly stats
  • total number of reads?
  • number of transcripts?
  • percent of reads aligned to the Trinity assembly?
  • ExN50 plot? Peak ExN50 value?
• Differential expression results
  • how many DE transcripts? DE genes?
  • any interesting functions for DE genes?
