History of XData - tooltwist/xdata GitHub Wiki

XData has a long history. It has been used in hundreds of applications and websites over the past decade, processing hundreds of millions of transactions and page views in industries ranging from Healthcare, Banking, and eCommerce, through to Motorcycle chassis design.

While it has been a relatively stable code base, we've launched this Github repository containing version 2 of XData, with a few significant changes:

• XData is now open source.
• Various performance enhancements.
• Extensible support for multiple data types.
• Automatic conversion between data types.

Contributors

We really don't mind what you do with XData, provided you respect the simply requirements described in LICENSE.txt. If you'd like to contribute - especially if you're adding a new data type - then feel free to fork this repo and send us a pull request when you're done.
