Variants

The DLA for "Dérivé Léger Ariane" (french for Light Ariane Derivative) was designed with two main versions: DLA-P and DLA-S. The larger ESLM builds on the DLA-S with a huge cryogenic upper stage. The ESL launcher, arguably very close to the ESLM, was added to this branch for various reasons, but you can also refer to it as a Vega derivatives.
