Ariane 6 is Europe's upcoming heavy launcher, due to replace the well-known Ariane 5 ! This last entry in the Ariane family inherited a lot from Ariane 5, but is designed to cut on cost, and to be more versatile. Like Ariane 5, A6 should shine by its dual-payload launches to GEO.

Ariane 6 can fly with 2 or 4 strap-on boosters, to suit better the designated missions. They were a lot of very interesting designs proposed for it, which are studied on other pages, but the one depicted here was finally selected, and should fly in 2021 !

• Probe Core "Cortex" Avionics System
  • 2x 0° L3S "Leprechaun" Separatron
  • 2x 90° Mk-61 "Zorg" RCS Pod
• RE-L10 "Poodle" Liquid Fuel Engine (Truss Mount or Bare, offset up)

First Stage

• Decoupler G2500
• Ariane 5 EPC
  • 2x KEREB-H "Dr-Strange" Radial Decoupler
  • 2x or 4x P120C "Deimos" Solid Fuel Booster
    • C7 Brand Adapter Slanted - 2.5m to 1.25m
    • Advanced Nose Cone - Type B
    • 4x L3S "Lilliputian" Separatron
• RE-M3 "Mainsall" Liquid Fuel Engine (Bare)
