Ariane 4 is heavily based on Ariane 3, with an extended first stage and a wider fairing. There is 6 different boosters configurations for Ariane 4, depending on the nature of the boosters (P for solid and L for liquid). This rocket was thus extremely versatile ! It's still Ariane's most produced and launched rocket, with 116 flights. It's also very reliable with only 3 failures on record.
Fuel Levels
On some variants of Ariane 4, fuel was removed to get a TWR over 1. For best results, follow the recommandations below, which are based on real numbers. Or add moar boosters.
