Start former2

git clone https://github.com/iann0036/former2.git

cd former2
docker compose up -d

Go to localhost.

SetUp

  • Introduction: Install Former2 Helper for Google Chrome.
  • Credentials: Use ReadOnly user in IAM Identity Center.
    • AccessKeyId
    • SecretAccessKey
    • SessionToken
  • Parameters
  • Settings

Generate CloudFormation from the existing AWS EC2 instance

  • Click EC2 in Dashboard
  • Select Instances
  • Check an instance, click Add Selected and click Generate
