Intro to Packet Tracer and Deploying/Pinging Devices

Summary

In this lab we experimented with Packet Tracer and pinged a system inside Packet Tracer with another system inside Packet Tracer.

Procedure

We setup 6 PCs and 2 switches. 3 PCs per switch. We connected the PCs to the switches via Copper Straight-through wires using Ethernet0/x depending on the PC connected to the switch. We connected the switches together with Copper Cross-Over cable using Gigabit0/1 connection.

We then gave 2/6 of the PCs IPv4 addresses and pinged one of these PCs using the other.

It worked.
