Following the heavily debated contributions of Dr DesMarques, multiple biologists were inspired by their ‘many-minds-combined' approach. These biologists soon started their own research, deep within the least inhabitable locations in nature, aptly named the Analytical Zoological and Botanical Transference Research Station, otherwise known as the AZBTRS

When the biologists first heard of Dr DesMarques’ research, they (unlike many, many other humans,) found the idea exhilarating, and actually aimed to go further: To put sentient minds into nature itself, or as it would later become known as, The Hive Mind. Many of the first journals of these biologists mainly consist of the research and experimentation, under the leadership of Dr. Philip Silverstein putting the animals from inside the jungle around their research station inside plants inside a controlled environment.

The later journals, however, describe how to breed and raise animals specifically to put them into various natural lifeforms, depending on their instinctual talents. It has been rumoured these sentient plant-creations aided the resistance in numerous battles as part of the responsive militaristic art, including but not limited to creating mazes or shifting the terrain the Occupation Forces supposedly knew well, creating perfect ambushes for the resistance. Their aid became more publicly know, however, after their involvement with the Simultaneous Quartet battle of 2472 specifically.

From the journals we can conclude that, while many of the biologists are uncredited, the ones that were in charge of the several projects were named:

• Dr. Aaron Jackwellson, the Chief overseeing the strict breeding process.

• Dr. Jacqueline Shannyn, the Chief overseeing the specific training of animals.

• Dr. Philip Silverstein, the Chief overseeing the procedure of transferring the sentient minds of animals into various forms of flora.

• Dr. Bellamy Sullivan, the Chief overseeing the transportation of creations to various resistance-requested locations.

Although it has never been confirmed, we can safely assume these biologists initiated the entire research in the first place.
