I had a need to hold a plastic corrugated poster board to the side of the V400. Since such an item did not exist, I created the pieces. You will find two files in the STL directory called V400-Backboard-holder_lower.stl and V400-Backboard-holder_upper.stl. To properly hold a panel to the side of the V400, you will need to print two of each model. One set (upper and lower) for one column and another set for the other column.

The intended panel is a 20 inch x 28 inch x 1/8 inch thick plastic corrugate panel sold at (brick and mortar stores) Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Home Depot just to name a few. For online purchase, these can be found on Amazon, E bay, Alibaba just to name a few.

Installation is very simple. Snap one of each onto the selected columns. Seat the panel long length vertically into the slots. Snap the appropriate holders above the panel and side them down so that the panel fits within the slots.

Done!

What will this do for you? When making time-lapse videos, you get a uniform white background instead of a view of the sprawl of cables, speeder pad, etc.

Nice thing is that you can remove the backdrop panel for V400 maintenance by simply sliding up the upper holders. Thus freeing the backdrop panel for removal.
