The National Library of Scotland (NLS, Leabharlann Nàiseanta na h-Alba) is proud of its open, transparent approach to the provision of access to bibliographic data. Its Data Foundry programme is dedicated to combining a variety of aspects pertaining to the provision and development of Open Data for its collections.

• Metadata collections are made available in MARC and Dublin Core
• Digitised collections can be downloaded as ALTO, METS, image and plain text files
• Map and spatial data sets
• Organisational data is available as CSV
