The Bottle (Noodles)

"Hello! Witch! I’m a bottle that you created. I'm sorry I didn’t heed your call right away. Happy to be your of service. I'm quite small so I might not be able to do the bigger chores but I can mix potions for you!"

I always watch you in awe; you are such a hard-working witch. One day I hope I can serve you one day.

(Nb: I did this because in eastern culture esp in Japan they believe that every item has ‘spirit’ on it hence why the potion bottles are sentient even before being animated.)

His characteristics are loyal, His emotion/state of mind Depends on the potion in his body.

The Witch

THIS IS A SUCH A MESS! Where did it go wrong? Maybe if I . . . rest . . . a bit . . .

I Ooh. Now, where was I? Potion bottle . . . help me!

Now . . . many of the items in this cottage are animated! Some of the books fly, and the brooms sweep the floor by themselves. Use these items to help you move around.

I’m feeling really dizzy and can’t get up. Your first task can be to find the ingredients for a rejuvenating tea, then brew it and bring it back to me.

“I think my Mana is leaking all over the place. Can you help me make a potion that relieves this?” “You can start by collecting the ingredients on the table.”

“You can manipulate the potion in your body to alter your abilities. Your emotions may change as a side effect, but you’ll learn a lot each time you finish a new potion.”

“There is the ingredient! Go! Pick it up.”

“Congratulations! You made a Fire potion!” “Put it into your body and try to pour it into the ground!”

“Please don't break those!” “Be careful dear!”

“You know, maybe you should try to combine those ingredients!” “You know, maybe you should explore the area, you could find something interesting there!”

“Don’t go that way!”

When the character dies “Oh dear, look at you. Give me a moment to fix you up” “I'm going to fix your boo-boo”

Possible ingredients

Herbal tea

Dried leaves

• One of the witch's favorite herbal teas. She handpicked the leaves by herself. It has a calming effect with a sweet fragrance. Hope she will like it!

Sugar

• Don’t forget to put sugar on it! The witch has a sweet tooth, but you shouldn’t overdo it.

Milk

• A liquid secreted from female mammals. A proper tea should have this~! I hope she doesn’t take it from weird animals.

Water

• Good ol’ water, needed to dissolve the tea. Make sure it's warm! She likes it that way

Morning dew

• Cultivated from the witch's garden in the morning. It has a different taste than the usual water, It’s so refreshing!

Fire potion

Jalapeno

• Heat-producing spices. We can extract its capsaicin to produce heat. Hope she doesn’t burn her tongue.

Dragon's scale

• Plucked out from a mythical creature- extremely rare. It's dangerous to go out and harvest this but apparently, she got this "from someone she knows"

Will-o-wisp

• Floating bluish flame that she kept in a jar. It seems to be ever-burning. It doesn't hurt and when you take some of the flames out like cotton candy

Glowing rock

• A rock found inside a volcano. It glows dimly but surely, and it stores magical energy. Sometimes she uses it as a night lamp.

Firefly

• An insect that can be found in a marsh or wet woodland. By secreting this bioluminescent insect we can spark fire.

Gunpowder

• A powder that explodes easily. Used for basic gunfire crafting.

Methane

• Colorless, odorless gas; is highly flammable. I hope she doesn’t hurt herself

Floating potion

Strange mushroom

• A strange mushroom that she kept on her desk. It can make you 'High'.

Foam

• Light substance that can be found in everyday life. Sometimes the simplest things contain magical properties too!

Stardust

• A dust gathered by the beach. At night, stardust can be found because it sparks in the moonlight. Though it's beautiful it contains strange properties.

Meteorite

• A rock that fell from space. Has unknown potential yet to be discovered. If you see it fall from the sky, don't forget to make a wish!

Star glitter

• Sparkly and glittery, this is man-made and used to perform certain rituals. Created by imbuing sand into moonlight when a full moon comes out.

Exotic feather

• A beautiful feather, very colorful and has a strange magical power. It is stored in a jar but because of its magical power, the jar floats around by itself.

Avtur

• An energy source that is powerful enough to fly a metal bird (Though it's so powerful, not many know how to use this substance).

Aerogel

• Condensed air. It's a very light and colorless, rare ingredient because it's hard to extract. Sometimes she forgets where does she store it.

Light Metal alloy

• Very light metal that can sit on a dandelion and not bend it.
