Birdcare

NAF staff take care of the birds in the colony room, however, IF YOU TAKE A BIRD OUT OF THE COLONY ROOM YOU HAVE FULL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR IT UNTIL YOU PUT IT BACK IN.

OLAC

Many services related to animals are available via the Office of Laboratory Animal Care (OLAC) website https://www.olac.berkeley.edu/

Visit the OLAC wiki page for information about reserving room for surgeries, renting the isoflurane equipment, and buying drugs.

Online Protocols

The protocol is located online at https://eprotocol.berkeley.edu/. Log in with your CalNet id and go to the IACUC tab. You'll need to allow popups for this site.

We keep our protocols on the lab google/berkeley drive "TLab Notebooks"

Note that this is different from the google/berkeley drive where we keep our backed up data.

Inspections

We have multiple inspections per year. They are a good time to clean the lab and make sure everything is in working order. Inspection Page
