Printer is on the network (Dell C1760)

Its hostname is DELLA17EC9 so its settings page can be accessed at http://DELLA17EC9 while you're on the network. If someone knows the password for the printer, we can make the name simpler.

How to add the printer on Mac

• While on the network or VPN, go to system preferences > printers & scanners. Click + button and go to IP. As address put in "DELLA17EC9" and Protocol "LPD". Leave queue blank. The rest should be magic.

How to add the printer on Ubuntu

• Its annoying

• Download this Phaser 6000 xerox driver

• Install this thingy: sudo apt-get install libcupsimage2:i386

• Install xerox driver out of the thing you downloaded 2 steps ago: sudo dpkg -i xerox-phaser-6000-6010_1.0-1_i386.deb

• Settings > Printers > Add

• It should pop up. if not you can go to LPD and search for the host name "DELLA17EC9". from driver database select Xerox Phaser 6000B
