How Columinity recommends models - theliberators/columinity.docs GitHub Wiki

Columinity offers several scientific models to analyze your team. Each model provides a different perspective on your team. For example, our 'Scrum/Agile Team Effectiveness' model is primarily concerned with five core factors that predict the effectiveness of Agile/Scrum Teams. Our 'Teamwork Quality' model focuses on teamwork and its predictors and is largely agnostic to methodology.

As this brief overview shows, not all models are equally relevant to your team. If your team does not use an Agile methodology, they stand to gain more from the 'Teamwork Quality' model. Similarly, if your team does use an Agile methodology, the 'Scrum/Agile Team Effectiveness' model is probably more relevant.

To help you pick the most relevant model, Columinity suggests a model based on the following considerations:

  • Team type (Agile, non-Agile, software or non-software team)
  • Soon: Improvement goals
  • Other factors may be added in the future

You are of course free to deviate from the suggestion and pick another model.
