To install the telemersive-gateway: download the latest release and drop the unpacked folder inside the MaxMSP package folder and rename it to 'telemersive-gateway'. If the directory is called differently, the MaxProject will not work.

Restart Max. Now you should be able to find the telemersive-gateway package inside the package manager.

Dependencies

The easy way to install all dependencies: Inside Max go to Menu > File > Package Manager > telemersive-gateway > launch and follow the instructions.

The telemersive-gateway requires additional MaxMSP packages, both can be found in the package manager:

• Zero
• Spout / Syphon

It also needs a local installation of

• Ultragrid, an opensource video networking framework with extremely low latency. If you want to interface it with NDI, you need also to install the NDI libraries for your system.
• NatNetThree2OSC, an opensource app to convert native optitrack tracking data to OSC. (windows only)

Make sure MaxMSP has read-write access rights on the folders ultragrid and NatNet2OSC reside in.

Startup for the first time

1. Open MaxMSP.
2. Go to File > Show Package Manager...
3. Switch to 'Installed Packages' and navigate to 'telemersive-gateway'.
4. Press launch.
5. Follow the instructions.

Once you have Telemersive-Gateway running: you should set the path to the externals.
