Publish Repository - techtalk/SpecLog-Resources GitHub Wiki

You can publish an existing stand alone repository to a server in order to share it. To do so:

  1. Open the repository you want to publish in the SpecLog client.
  2. Select Publish Repository from the main menu.
  3. Enter the server's URL including the port number.
  4. Enter a Repository name (the current name is suggested).
  5. Click on Publish

Unique Repository IDs

The repository name on the server does not need to match the name of the repository file on the client. The repository has a unique ID, which is retained when publishing the repository and when cloning a repository if the Keep identifiers option is checked.

Re-publishing a Shared Repository under a Different name

You can publish the same shared repository to the server under a different name by cloning the repository and publishing it again.
